The Office of the Oyo State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the launch of a new episodic editorial series, “The Explainer,” aimed at providing political communication, public enlightenment and greater visibility for the party’s leadership, achievements and candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The initiative, being coordinated through the Directorate of Media and Publicity, is designed to create a consistent platform for communicating the policies, programmes and achievements of the APC at both the state and federal levels.

A major focus of the series will be the leadership, vision and public profile of Barrister Sharafadeen Alli, the APC governorship candidate in Oyo State, whose candidacy will feature prominently in the editorial episodes.

The series will also highlight the achievements and policy initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope administration, presenting them in a manner intended to make the administration’s policies and programmes more accessible to party members and the wider public.

Another major component of The Explainer will be the systematic profiling of APC candidates contesting for the Senate, House of Representatives and Oyo State House of Assembly.

According to the organisers, the candidate profiles will provide voters and party members with information about the candidates’ qualifications, political records, programmes, aspirations and plans for their respective constituencies.

The Office of the State Youth Leader described the initiative as a strategic media and publicity platform designed to communicate the party’s activities and achievements while strengthening its visibility and public engagement.

It said the episodic editorials would also promote unity within the party and provide what it described as credible and accessible political information as the APC prepares for the next electoral cycle.

The Directorate of Media and Publicity urged APC members, supporters, stakeholders and members of the public to follow and engage with the series as new episodes are released.

The office further called on supporters to share the contents responsibly in order to broaden public awareness of the party’s leadership, programmes and candidates.

The initiative is expected to feature a combination of stories, profiles, achievements and political perspectives aimed at giving the public a clearer understanding of the APC and the individuals seeking elective positions under its platform.

In announcing the series, the Office of the State Youth Leader said the objective was straightforward: “leadership deserves to be told, achievements deserve to be amplified, and candidates deserve to be properly presented to the people.”

The first episodes of The Explainer are expected to be rolled out shortly.
