Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Dr Yunus Abiodun Akintunde, has joined other leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the commissioning of the Oyo State APC Campaign Office ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The office was commissioned earlier today by the National Chairman of the APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s organisational structures and coordination across Oyo State.
Speaking on the significance of the new office, Senator Akintunde described it as an important coordination and mobilisation centre that would facilitate effective planning, stakeholder engagement, grassroots mobilisation and the coordination of the party’s activities across the state.
He noted that the facility would further strengthen communication and collaboration among party leaders, candidates, members, supporters and grassroots structures, thereby ensuring better coordination as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
At the event, Senator Akintunde also redeemed his pledge to support the party’s grassroots structures with the donation of five brand-new Toyota Sienna buses to the Oyo State City Boys Movement.
According to him, the donation is part of his commitment to supporting party structures and enhancing grassroots mobilisation across Oyo State.
Senator Akintunde expressed optimism that the renewed organisational efforts and collective commitment of party leaders and members would contribute to a successful electoral outing for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
He urged party members and stakeholders to remain united, coordinated and committed to strengthening the party’s structures at all levels.
