The Oyo State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Olalekan Oladejo, popularly known as Glory, has held a strategic meeting with student union leaders from across Oyo State as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during the meeting, Oladejo said the gathering was aimed at fostering unity among progressive student leaders and positioning them to play active roles in the party’s mobilisation efforts across the state.

He urged the student leaders to remain committed to the collective goal of returning Oyo State to the APC through sustained grassroots mobilisation, increased youth participation, and unwavering dedication to the party.

The APC youth leader called on the students to work diligently for the victory of the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, describing him as a credible, experienced, and people-oriented leader with the capacity to move Oyo State forward.

He also charged the student leaders to mobilise support for all APC candidates contesting the House of Representatives, Senate, and Oyo State House of Assembly seats in the 2027 general elections.

In addition, Oladejo appealed to them to work for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying another term would help consolidate the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He expressed confidence that unity, effective organisation, and sustained mobilisation would strengthen the APC’s chances of victory in the 2027 elections, urging members to remain focused on the task ahead.

According to him, the future belongs to those who organise, mobilise, and remain committed, stressing that the time to act is now.
