The Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for the Pacesetter Stars Showcase (PSS), Idris Animasaun, has described his decision to support the initiative as an easy one, citing its potential to create opportunities for young people and promote community development.
Speaking on his motivation for backing the project, Animasaun said the Pacesetter Stars Showcase is about more than football, noting that it provides a platform for talents both on and off the pitch to be discovered, celebrated and connected to greater opportunities.
According to him, the event is designed to empower youths by bringing together players, creatives, media professionals, volunteers and community stakeholders under a common vision aimed at fostering growth and development.
Animasaun, who has contributed to football media and fan engagement through 3SCFansTV, said the showcase represents another avenue to build on that impact while creating meaningful connections within the football community.
He also commended the efforts of Bayo Adigun and other creatives involved in the project, stressing that the initiative seeks not only to celebrate football but also to encourage youth engagement and nurture the next generation of talents.
The Pacesetter Stars Showcase is expected to serve as a platform where sports, creativity and community development intersect, creating opportunities for participants and stakeholders alike.
