The Oyo State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Olalekan Glory, has congratulated the newly sworn-in Minister of Power, Engr. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, on his appointment and assumption of office.


In a statement issued on behalf of APC youths in the state, Glory described Tegbe’s appointment as a recognition of his record of excellence, integrity, competence and commitment to national development.


He said the minister had distinguished himself over the years as a visionary leader and accomplished technocrat whose experience in both the public and private sectors earned him the confidence of Nigerians and the trust of the nation’s leadership.


According to him, Tegbe’s pledge to serve with honesty, diligence, discipline and accountability demonstrates the values that have consistently defined his career.
The APC youth leader expressed confidence that the new minister would drive meaningful reforms in the power sector through transparency, measurable milestones and results-oriented leadership.


He added that under Tegbe’s stewardship, the Ministry of Power is expected to witness significant progress, improved service delivery and innovative solutions capable of stimulating economic growth and improving the quality of life of Nigerians.
Glory also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as a strategic appointment based on merit, competence and inclusive governance.


He said the President’s confidence in Tegbe reflects his determination to assemble capable individuals to advance the Renewed Hope Agenda and deliver development across critical sectors of the economy.
Reaffirming the support of APC youths in Oyo State, Glory pledged their prayers and backing for the minister as he undertakes his new national assignment.


He expressed optimism that Tegbe’s tenure would leave a lasting legacy in Nigeria’s power sector and wished him wisdom, strength and success in office.
