In a viral video, Mrs Rachael Alamu, the abducted Principal of Community High School, Ahoro Esinle, stated that it was untrue that their abductors demanded a billion naira and entrenchment of Sharia Law as conditions for their release.

Mrs Alamu disclosed that the only demand the bandits made was the release of their fellow bandits in Agodi and Abolongo Correctional facilities.
